WORLD VIEWS SEMINAR

This seminar is designed to look at six competing world views: Marxism/Leninism, Secular Humanism, Postmodernism, Cosmic Humanism, Islam, and Biblical Christianity. We will examine ten specific areas in each world view and see the spiritual and moral bankruptcy of the first five and the foundational truths of Biblical Christianity that indeed set us free. This seminar is based on the book by David Noebel, Understanding the Times, and the ten areas we examine are: Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, Biology, Psychology, Sociology, Law, Politics, Economics and History. In each of these specific disciplines, we will see how Satan, through the first five world views, has perverted and distorted the truth so as to call good, evil, and to call evil, good. But in turn we will also see how God’s truth revealed in His Word is and will overcome these lies through the power Christ. The battle is ongoing, and it will be until Jesus returns, but we are promised the "overwhelming victory" in Christ both now and in the end when Satan is crushed under Jesus’ heel. However, we are in this present world, and God has called and equipped us to be His witnesses and stand for His truth against the lies and distortion of the enemy through the indwelling power of Jesus within us. This seminar, therefore, will both inform and equip you to stand against the "schemes" of the devil and his unrelenting lies in the above mentioned areas through the truth of God’s Word in very real and practical ways.

This too is a twenty-hour seminar, with two hours being given to each discipline. Once again, I will be more than happy to work with you and your particular situation as to how best to present this seminar to your congregation in the time frame you feel is most appropriate.
